Olin Library Extends Hours

Starting this fall semester, John M. Olin Library will have extended building hours on Friday and Saturday nights, staying open until 10 pm. Fall semester hours begin Sunday, August 24. The first night of extended Friday and Saturday hours will be August 29.

This change was made in response to student feedback and will address the needs of students, faculty, and staff. A valid WashU ID is required to use Olin Library during operational hours after 8 pm.

Olin Library operates on a reduced schedule during academic breaks, including winter break, but the extended hours noted above will resume at the start of the spring 2026 semester on January 12.
