NEXT Award 2025 Presentations

Join us for an opportunity to hear from the 2025 Newman Exploration Travel Fund (NEXT) Awardees, who will share presentations about their travels, followed by a poster session and special reception with opportunities to interact with the winners.

Presenters will include:

Maggie Coleman, majoring in architecture at the Sam Fox Schol. She traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark, Stockholm, Sweden, and Helsinki, Finland.

Sidarth Gazula, an economics, computer science, and education studies major in the College of Arts & Sciences. He traveled to India.

Anja Rauscher, a biomedical engineering major at the McKelvey School of Engineering. She traveled to Western and Central Europe.

Nick Dolan, a PhD student of English. He traveled to El Salvador and Boulder, Colorado.

Yihao Li, an MA-PhD student of art history. She traveled to Switzerland.

Husain Lateef, associate professor of social work in the Brown School. He traveled to Morocco.

Shreyas R. Krishnan, assistant professor at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. She traveled to the United Kingdom.

Jayde Homer, a statistical data analyst in Arts & Sciences She traveled to several U.S. National Parks.

Jennifer Colten, a photographer and senior lecturer at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. She traveled to the Republic of Georgia.
