The Lewis A. Levey Family Football Collection contains game programs, team yearbooks, media guides and directories, schedules, and newsletters related to American football. Some game programs include tickets, newspaper clippings, coupons, and other ephemera. The materials in the Levey Football Collection date from 1927 to the 2010s.
Teams documented by the collection include the National Football League (NFL) St. Louis Football Cardinals (1960-1987) and the St. Louis Rams (1995-2010). The Cardinals and Rams materials include season ticket package information, yearbooks, and media guides. Also included in the collection are correspondence from the St. Louis NFL Partnership from 1991 to 1995 regarding the potential formation of a new NFL team in St. Louis.

The collection also includes items from other teams and leagues, including the St. Louis Gunners (American Legion Post 103), the Chicago Winds (World Football League), and the Kentucky Trackers (American Football Association). The game programs also cover high school and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) games, particularly those involving the University of Wisconsin–Madison Badgers, Washington University Bears, University of Missouri Tigers, and St. Louis University Billikens.
