New Furniture Fosters Modern Study Environment at Olin Library
John M. Olin Library has added new furniture, spaces, and upgraded study rooms to foster meetings, collaboration, and focused study. Three pods were recently installed on level 1 of Olin Library based on student feedback about the need for more reservable spaces for small meetings or Zoom calls. The booths are available for both reservations and walk-in use. The two studio booths and one standing booth can be used for phone calls, virtual meetings, and study activities.

The Newman Exploration Center Study Room, also known as the Expedition Office, has been recently furnished as a new study space for students and can accommodate up to four students at a time. It can be reserved for collaborative study and is also available for walk-in use.

Ten new two-seat tables have been added around the Newman Tower on levels 2 and 3.
