EBSCO New User Interface

Library users returning for the fall semester may notice a new look to the Libraries’ EBSCO databases. About 50 databases have moved to an updated interface. EBSCO’s redesigned platform presents users with new, intuitive ways to refine, save, and share search results.  New features include personalized dashboards, enhanced search, sharing and citation tools, and improved accessibility.

Links to searches and articles are persistent, meaning that the links can be copied and shared.

Users can share, save, and re-run searches. They can now create alerts via the Search Results page and view alerts in the Dashboard.

Search enhancements include an improved design for combining and filtering searches.  “Sticky filters” prevent resetting of sorting or narrowing criteria as users navigate through search results.
