James Merrill’s Poetry Manuscripts

The James Merrill’s Poetry Manuscripts digital exhibition provides an introduction and background to selected poems by James Merrill. It features scanned drafts, photographs, and more from the James Merrill Papers, along with texts of and commentaries on the poems.

The digital exhibition was curated by Timothy Materer, author of James Merrill’s Apocalypse and Modernist Alchemy: Poetry and the Occult.
