Join Special Collections in celebrating the new exhibition Snakes on the Page. Snakes, serpents, vipers, or pythons… regardless of what you call them, it is undeniable that these legless reptiles have captivated humans throughout time. The Snakes on the Page exhibition showcases how snakes have influenced art and form in printed work. The exhibition, organized by Special Collections Student Assistant Emmett Campbell, highlights the collection’s abstract to literal representations of snakes, depicting them as man-eating beasts and docile creatures. Remarks at 4:15 pm. Additional books will be on display for attendees to view.
