An Introduction to Finding and Adapting Open Educational Resources

In this interactive, 90-minute workshop for faculty and staff, learn what Open Educational Resources (OER) are, interpret Creative Commons licenses, and locate OER that is relevant to your courses. Through short activities and guided searches, you will identify at least one OER that can be adopted or adapted, explore practical strategies for customizing OER materials to meet your courses’ learning objectives, and connect with experts and peers who can help you implement OER in courses. Light refreshments will be provided.

Free and open to all, registration requested.

Co-sponsored by WashU Libraries and WashU OER Interest Group.
