Ted was appointed interim anthropology librarian at the WashU Libraries in 2019 and was promoted to permanent Anthropology Librarian in September 2019. Before this, he served in the WashU Libraries as Head of Academic Support & Collaboration and Head of Instructional Support Services.

Ted began his career at Baton Rouge Community College, then Southern University (HBCU) in Baton Rouge, and at Florida State University, where he served as Assistant Head of Access Services, Undergraduate Librarian, and library liaison to the Psychology Department and the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Ted holds an undergraduate degree in history and a master’s in library and information science.
