Kris has worked at the WashU Libraries since 2007. She taught English at Clayton High School. Her interests in teaching and research arose from formative experiences with maritime research projects and leading sail training and ecology education trips. Kris earned a BA at Middlebury College, an MAT (education and English) at Washington University, and an MLS at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
