Civil Rights Suite

The WashU Libraries have agreed to act as a Regional Depository for a suite of civil rights-related government documents. This means that the Libraries will have as comprehensive a collection for the agencies listed below as possible.

The intention is to include all of the documents available in these areas through the Libraries in our Catalog. To search the Civil Rights Suite collection by agency, input the Superintendent of Documents (SuDoc) Numbers abbreviation or agency name into the search field on the library catalog.

Guidelines for the Disposal of Other Federal Government Documents

Because of our ongoing interest in historical government documents, we have agreed to serve as the local coordinator for Selectives in the St. Louis Metro area. This means that the Government Documents Librarian will receive discard lists from the other Metro area depositories and will distribute the lists to the other Metro area depositories for possible selection before the lists are passed on to the Regional Librarian.
